1. What is this about?

  • Just like Alex and his million dollar homepage, I am going to university and am already finding fincial things very difficult as the cost of living in the UK is generally quite high, or at least the area I currently live in (If anyone knows a cheap area to live please let me know!). This site was originally based on his idea but I've decided to change it and make it a bit more unique, and as far as I know, this hasn't been tried yet. (Please tell me if I am wrong)

 

2. Why A Minimum of 5 letters?

  • This isn't because I am making life complicated, I just don't want to have a homepage consisting of the alphabet. If I wanted that i could of just written a page and not bothered at all! This is to let people buy text to advertise their website. If you want to buy a single letter you could collate with friends/family to buy a word of sequence of letters.

 

3. How and why should I buy text?

  • You can buy the text by going onto the buy page which you can find here. You can buy the text using either Paypal or Wire Transfer. If you prefer to use Wire Transfer please contact me using the contact page as I don't really want to publish my bank details on a public webpage.

    You should buy text because it's a different idea to the original image pixels and through doing this you should gain traffic to your website as many people come to visit this website! I plan to keep the website online for years to come!

 

4. Why are you selling in dollars?

  • Same reason as Alex states on his website, I'd agree that the US dollar is probably the most universal currency on the internet. And with the current exchange rate US customers would find the GBP to extremely expensive to buy text so I have hopefully made this a little better for them!

 

5. Why a the minimum and maximum font size?

  • Well like with images, anything so small like 1px, you could probably never see it and would be completely pointless as you would not be able to click for the link and it would be wasted money as people can't see it they can't click it! The maximum is plainly for the reason that if it went up to anything, some of the text's may possibly be unbelievably huge and would look ridiculus on the homepage so that is why I decided to put a maximum.

 

6. How is this different from all the other pixel selling sites?

  • Simple! I am not selling images. As far as I know, nobody else has tried to sell text so this is slightly different in its own sense. The original idea came from Alex and his Million Dollar Homepage so most credit should go to him! (Thanks for the idea!)
