Why it's the pick

Chili3D is a real solid-modeling CAD program in a tab: sketch, extrude, revolve, fillet and combine shapes, then export STEP, IGES or STL for 3D printing. It's free and open source with no account and saves to your browser, but it's young (version 0.7), takes about 30 seconds to load, and beginners making simple prints will find Tinkercad easier.
